Digital signage has grown exponentially in the last year, with opportunities in residential and MDU markets growing daily. The Digital Signage Certified Experts workshop and certification program is designed to efficiently and effectively bring CEDIA professionals up to speed from an overall industry knowledge perspective in order to take advantage of the booming digital signage market. The workshop is a one-day seminar taught by recognized experts and will allow A/V and IT design and integration professionals to master the formulas for successful design and deployment, resulting in significant returns on investment for digital signage rollouts. This course looks at the scale and scope of the digital signage industry and examines what experts forecast as double digit growth over the next five years. Customers and applications are covered as well as a close examination of the seven disparate parts of digital signage solutions. Basic digital signage design is taught as well as a close look at dedicated hardware, networks, software, signal alternatives, all in connection with infrastructure and integration. The experts will explore content, creation, and from a financial perspective, there will be analysis of several possible business models. The course culminates in an exam and earning the designation Digital Signage Certified Expert providing industry recognition and expanded opportunities as an industry authority.
